Warehouse Picker
Position Type: Full-time
Summary Of Duties
Position Purpose: The Warehouse Picker sorts, packs, and labels all Home Assembly parts, correctly.
Material Handling
- Accurately weigh returned components and place in correct inventory locations
- Pull Warehouse items from racking based on batch orders
- Stage material/components per work order (travel ticket)
- Clear Assembly DelmiaWorks (IQMS) variances
- Put away incoming WIP
Inventory Control
- Ensure product is properly packaged and labeled
- Assist in cycle counts and physical inventory
- Maintain accurate moves and transaction in ERP system
Safety
- Keep work areas clean per Company housekeeping standards
- Operate forklift safely
- Other Duties as Assigned; including back-up to Assembly Automatics and Auditing
Qualifications / Experience
Required
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Basic Computer skills, especially Microsoft Office products
- Good math aptitude, ability to understand ratios and percentages
- Able to work with limited direction
- Must be able to prioritize work
- Knowledge of basic safety procedures
- Ability to operate a forklift
- Understanding of inventory procedures
- This position requires lifting up to 25 lbs. frequently
Desired
- Previous work experience in a manufacturing and/or warehouse setting
- Delmiworks (IQMS) ERP System Experience
